- Music blogs. Discovering new music is nice, but a lot of the music on the blogs (i.e., metal, dubstep) doesn't appeal to me, and requires watching a YouTube video. These blogs are also often the kind that require the least amount of effort put into their posts - copy a Wikipedia article & throw in a YouTube link. Done.
- Video game blogs. I probably don't play the video game they're talking about. I don't have the game systems required for said game. I'm not interested.
- Blogs that have two line entries. Oh, so you went to the grocery store and bought eggs?

Blogs I don't like.
Blogs can be super entertaining and informative to read, but unfortunately there's quite a lot of blogs that don't interest me. Am I the only one?

I sorta lol'ed. I hope you dont hate my blog :(
ReplyDeleteI'm not too fussed really. If I don't like it I don't read it. One thing I don't like though is when people comment on a blog and leave their blogs url in the comment. It's not like it's hard to click on a bloggers name and find them if you want to. It just makes it look like they're only commenting so they can get new followers.
ReplyDeleteI hope my blog is alright! :P
ReplyDeleteThis is becoming a scary trend, but I hate it when people just copy/paste wikipedia articles in their blogs, just straight-up.
It's not your blog in that case! Don't start a blog unless you're going to actually put something in it! Come on!
I agree!
ReplyDeleteYou just sit there, and you have nothing to say, and you can't help but feel your friendship is just waning away at the sub par quality of their blog.
Looking forward to your future updates. :)

In contrast, I can handle overly excessive blogs with walls of text and uninteresting information
ReplyDeleteI like blogs of every sort. It's always interesting to read new things.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you for the most part, but there are some video game blogs I read. I like video game blogs with information about styles and types of video games, and not so much specific games.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, I like blogs have that updates with just funny pictures on them. Or funny stories about life and such.
If im interested in the post, ill comment and support...simple

I like blogs that give you an insight into the person and who they are... but really all blogging is good blogging, and it's all better than Facebook
ReplyDeleteGreat post, you should check my blog out. It does not fall under the listed categories.

ReplyDeleteI'd have to say my least favorite are the ones where people are trying to be cryptic about their personal lives. If you've got something to say, then say it. Also the two liners, I'm totally with you on that.
ReplyDelete*edit spelling error*
I hope you don't mind my Metallica blog... At least I put a little bit of effort into it by describing the videos myself, rather than copy and pasting some drivel from Wikipedia. I would also agree about the short blog entries being annoying and pointless.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I'm always interested in blogs in which people write about their daily lives.
ReplyDeleteMine is always worth checking out, because its got two others linked to it. so I'm not just doing one really lazy part, I'm doing 3.
ReplyDeleteSimple, if you don't like a blog, skip it. It's your choice.
ReplyDeleteI dislike blogs that have url redirects on all of their links so you can't leave a comment or read a whole post without being sent to linkbucks or something.
ReplyDeletewell buddy. idc what u like. lol jk. this is just one of a network of blogs that i am apart of ranging from dreaming, to poetry, to random rants. i want to make a few others that are contributionals.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is why I blog about what I'm getting a degree in. I can teach, learn, and entertain all at the same time.
